Cincinnati's own Big
J Records presents 15 - an MC who brought the 'Nati Style nationwide
this past summer with his first single entitled "Livin That
Ghetto Life". 15 derives his name from Zone 15, the infamous
Ohio neighborhood where he grew up. He was influenced by old school
soul like The Isley Brothers, The O'Jays, and The Jackson 5, as
well as many of the great mc's in Hip Hop.
He has opened for such
artists as Juvenile, Trick Daddy, Twista, Bootleg, Memphis Bleak,
and Whodini. Ask him who he compares himself to, and he'll say,
"No one. My natural musical talents have allowed me to develop
an original and versatile style that is all my own."
"Livin That Ghetto
Life" is distributed nationally through Select-O-Hits, and
is available at most urban Independent Retailers.
